The difference between a nebulizer set and an oxygen mask is that the exhalation opening at the edges is wider and the oxygen connection is made with a large-bore cannula. In addition, a device called a large-volume nebulizer is attached to this mask. This device on the mask is used to administer medications in nebulized solution form to the patient via the respiratory tract.

The nebulizer set consists of various components, including a tube, connector, oxygen connection device, nose clip, mask, nebulizer chamber, and retaining rubber.
